"STUNNINGLY GOOD! Miller provides spot-on impressions of dozens of characters as he covers nearly 25 years of baby boomer history. A spectacular performance." - CBC Winnipeg
"A big, bold, ambitious summary of an era" - Winnipeg Free Press.
BOOM
, the most presented new work in Canada, ends its 2015-2016 season at Winnipeg's Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre, with a 4-week stint from April 28 - May 21 2016. By end of run, we will have reached 251 shows! After runs in Toronto, London, Victoria, Edmonton, Whitehorse, Halifax, Markham, Vancouver, Ottawa and Montreal, the Kidoons/WYRD multimedia show finally comes to Winnipeg, where Rick Miller has played many of his other solo shows in the past. As a matter of fact, his first show MacHomer played the Winnipeg Fringe 20 years ago!

Winnipeg Free Press Preview

For 4 weeks, we'll be BOOMing onstage, and building online partnerships with local organizations who connect to our themes of history, culture, technology and ecology. We're also proud to continue our ongoing outreach campaign: "Your Stories". After our post-show talkbacks, we record short stories from audience members, and add them to an ever-expanding tapestry of tales that help connect us together as Canadians at encyclopediacanada.com. If you have a story to share, you can do it here.
